How Do You Know Your Roof Needs to Be Replaced?
Not every damaged roof needs to come off. But some do, and the sooner you know which situation you are in, the better the outcome. Here are the signals that replacement is the right call in Iowa.
- Age past 20-25 years. Architectural shingles are rated for 25-30 years under ideal conditions, but Iowa's freeze-thaw cycles, severe weather and hail seasons shorten that realistic lifespan.
